This is a collection of the vids me and my team made during our hospital duties. The original team, composed of me, JR Delmendo, Joan Casin, Bernard Bautista, Lance Cadelina, Elaesa Elimanco, and Jayson Abriol-Santos, started this gig on the first quarter of 2007. During the test vid, which was taken in Fabella, our purpose was just to get a video souvenir of what we did as students. As we posted our second episode at You Tube, our perspective on the video changed due to the positive comments from internet viewers. Upon learning that there are actually people wanting to see even just a glimpse of what we do, we decided to give it to them. THE WARD has now become a video project to be produced in series whenever possible. Yes, we have viewers and subscribers from countries like the U.K., New Zealand, and the U.S.A. Some happen to be RN's who want to look back into what it has been like back when they were student nurses. Some watched to get a little more inspiration before they get into the field of healthcare. So far, as of September, 2008 we have produced 20 vids, with episode 20 coming out soon. March of 2007 was quite sad (if not difficult) for us since there has been a reshuffling of sections in our batch, disbanding the original group. Episode 5 covers the last days of the original team on duty at Kamuning Lying-in, while Episode 6 pays a video tribute to the original members. Episode 7 features the new team which is composed of me, Gerby Galanto, Cheenee Enaje, Monet Espinosa, and Sheena Cerda. Episode 18 features a one-time episode with a different set of cast members accompanying THE WARD mainstay Mitch Young. They are Nica Albite and Geoff Go. 1957: Shirley Bassey recorded and released the these two Philips Label singles, 'My Heart She Is Crying' and 'Fire Down Below' in 1957. My Heart.. was the Side (B) track with Side (A) being, 'If I Had A Needle and Thread.' Of the two songs, this one is my personal favorite. Her next recording session included 'Fire Down Below' which was the side (A) track with Side (B) being, 'You, You Romeo.' From 1953 thru 1958 when Shirley received her first Number 1 Hit, 'As I Love You' was a time of gaining experience, learning, and finding that style that would be her very own. And, the word was VERY, VERY HARD as Shirley would go from town to town wondering if she and her manager would have enough money to pay all the costs associated with traveling around the world. While in the USA her manager, Michael Sullivan, hired publicity agent Ed Gollin for introduce Shirley to some important people in Manhanttan. He took Shirley to see Sammy Davis Jr, Frank Sinatra and was able to negotiate a recording session with Musical Great, Mitch Miller. As stated above, this was a time for discovery and Shirley was having a hard time getting the phrasing right for either the 'My Heart...OR IF I had a Needle..) song. Finally, they all were able to muddle through it, but history shows us that the Mitch Miller sound was not what Shirley would eventually become famous for. Right after the session, up they went and flew to Las Vegas to do a stint at the El Rancho. Shirley's next single, 'Fire Down Below' was more upbeat with a good beat and it received more notice. The song actually hit the charts at #30. And, besides the single release this song was also released on Shirley's 'Bewitching Miss Bassey' album. The song is from the feature film "Fire Down Below" (1957). Schirnhofer grabbed the lead on the start and never looked back, winning in a dominating performance by a half a lap. Mike Pegher, Jr. ran second throughout, with Russ Kolesar right behind, ending several weeks of bad luck. Last week's winner Josh Holtgraver was on the move thru the entire event getting up to fourth, with Steve Beatty returning after a month's absence to finish fifth. *ANNOUNCEMNT* I give up, it's too much (-_-) Too many games it's not like before that I posted a lot because I had already recorded the games beforehand. There is too much going on, after finishing a game, I go to Vagrant Story and I have to remember what Chain skills I have use and the weapon affinities, forgot which gem went to which grip etc..., then I go to Legend of Mana and I need to remember in which order I need to place the artifacts, and which quests are missable and which abilities are needed to learn a weapon art, which seeds make which produce etc.. then I go to Chrono Cross which is all easy and fun because it's a New Game + but I get depressed because it remembers me of all my erased videos -_-, then I go to Disgaea 3... and I don't even know where to begin, keeping track of everyone's MAbilities, items, school council. I tried going back and recording Xenosaga Episode I but my only save was as Jr. in the Encephelon subway, and no way, that means going thru the SONG OF NEPHILM again, and I had already recored all side quests and Segment Adresses before it got erased. Then there's Tales of Rebirth... I just get plain owned XD, but I don't want to go back to Easy rank.. After that there's Devil May Cry 4, I can't complete any of the Secret Mission, I don't where to go or what to do, LOL and I'm just in Human mode. And blah, blah the rest of the games. It's too tirng, I quit -_- Sorry for the people waiting for SaGa Frontier II and Star Ocean III videos (OMG Star Ocean! LOL), but I've finished Kirby! (After many tries). So I'll just relax and record whatever I feel like playing (which is the next video when it finishes uploading) *ahem* so whatever just shut up and eat your pudding.
