Here is a new vid from me devoted to James Bond and Moneypenny! This one is from Moneypennys point of view. The song is One Fine Day, performed by The Chiffons. Its encapsulated in the Lois Maxwell era with her 3 Bond men: Sean, George, and Roger. I came across this song by chance in my itunes library, a few days ago. When I listened to it, I realised just how well it would work for a Bond and Moneypenny salute. I liked the boppy, fun, optimistic vibe. We all know James heart belonged to Moneypenny, and it was just a matter of time before he came to his senses and wanted to connect on a permanent basis with the one women who understood him, could banter with him, make true sparks fly in his world, and also had his back and was his steadfast support in life. Moneypenny could feel safe and secure in the fact that one day her man would be hers to own. And, I think this was born out by the fact of a tipped hat at the races and the promise of dinner. There was a progression of the relationship through phases of life in the Maxwell years, so to my mind, she got her Bond. I felt this song also was perfect, due to the fact that Sean and Lois, over a cup of tea, originally devised a back story of a past romance for the pair- which ended because Bond felt that being involved with someone would jeopardise his gaining his 00 status and subsequent career, and Moneypenny knew Bond was a cad by nature, and would break her heart sooner or later. In the movies, Moneypenny was always hoping Bond was finally ready to commit to a life with her. I think there was, indeed, a sense of affection and comfortable interaction that indicated a previous romantic entanglement between the two. And, I do feel there was also a vibe from Lois, with her 2 subsequent Bonds as well, that she had known the man in an intimate sense and was waiting for him to rekindle. Moneypenny loved James enough to once let him go- hoping that one fine day he would return! Enjoy!

Here is a music video tribute dedicated to one of the classic partnerships of all time- James Bond and Moneypenny! The song is Call Me Irresponsible, performed by Michael Bublé. Its from James perspective serenading Moneypenny. Moneypenny was the one woman, out of a world of women, who captured the heart of James Bond, and yet never broke through the mans defences and very profound fear of actually winning the girl of his dreams. Moneypenny spoke fluent James Bond, and understood the man to his very being. She could quip with him and out quip him, arouse him with the slightest remark or glance, she had his measure, she was his support, anchor, and fantasy- she was his better half! He always came back to her! This video features Moneypenny as brilliantly and quintessentially played by the one and only Lois Maxwell. From her days with Sean, Moneypenny was ever trying to get James Bond to succumb to her charms. With the appearance of George Lazenby, Moneypenny responded with much euphoria to James new new found promise of a courtship, and then with quiet grace and dignity expressed her eternal love still smouldering for James, if he ever so desired to renew his intentions of romance with her. Back with Sean, she was again forward in her pursuit of him, yet some how showed a resigned realisation that any token from the man himself of adoration was acceptable. With Roger, she seamlessly moved into the role of pseudo-wife, and reliable confidant, and much needed aid. She was the one woman James relied on, and required to make his life run. James also had a more mature air about him- he let Moneypenny know in his own indirectly expressed way, that he, without question, valued her company, and teasing stimulation above anything in this world to keep him with his feet on the ground. She had his heart, and it seemed he was truly grateful to have someone who so completed him. And, they were FINALLY going on that date in their last outing together. So, to my mind, Moneypenny di
