Lucas Lorenzo Spencer, Sr. & Jr. a.k.a. Luke and Lucky are quite simply the BEST father and son pairing on daytime that I can recall. They are fluid, seamless, perfect together just like Tony is with Genie and Genie also was with Jonathan. Tony and JJ had an unconventional father-son relationship because Luke was an unconventional man. They were endearing and so loving together. It was a lovely thing to watch. This song really struck a chord with me about their relationship. Luke always tried to guide and steer his "little guy", his "Cowboy" without lecturing or demanding. He just did a movie on Showtime--Prisoner of Zenda, Inc.--where he played two characters and neither one was Lucky. I worried for a while that he was absorbing so much of the two of us that he was losing his own identity. But he isn't, and I'm pleased to see that. But as Lucky, he's utterly our child. I really feel like, 'God, if I had a son, I'd want him to be just like Jonathan.' He's the perfect physicalization of Luke and Laura's love. He's a bea
