If you've never seen the awfully underrated comedy gem 'A Night at the Roxbury' then you're in for a treat. Get down to the nearest DVD emporium and get it. The movie was conceived from the Saturday Night Live sketch starring Will Ferrell & Chris Kattan in which they portray two club hopping guys in matching suits who bob their head in time with dance music most notably Haddaway's 'What is Love'. In the sketches they go to various clubs most often 'The China Club' to try and get girls which they inevitably fail to do so as their pick up repetoire is limited to the phrases 'What's up?','Wanna dance?','Me,him?' and 'Don't worry about it' and violently gyrating against the unlucky female who crosses their path. In the sketch Ferrell and Kattan were often joined by a third head bobber. The most notable was Jim Carrey who's adventure with them included a visit to a high school prom, a wedding and a retirement home. Other 'third guys' included Tom Hanks & Sylvester Stallone. The SNL head boppers made the jump to the big screen in 1998 in the aforementioned 'A Night at the Roxbury'. It was discovered that their names were Doug & Steve Butabi. Were they brothers? No...Yes! They are two wealthy club hoppers who are, in Doug's words: "A-Club people leading B-Club lives". They dream of clubbing in Los Angeles' prestigious "The Roxbury". However they cannot unfortunately get past the hulking Roxbury bouncer(Michael Clarke Duncan) no matter what Abraham Lincoln or George Washington says. After a twist of fate involving Richard Grieco (of 21 Jump Street 'fame'),a car crash and a desire to evade legal action they are swept into the glitzy, glamorous world of the Roxbury which they had before only dreamt about. Can they realise their ultimate ambition of owning their very own nightclub? The film also stars Dan Hedaya, Loni Anderson, Molly Shannon, Lochlyn Munro, Elisa Donovan, Gigi Rice, Jennifer Coolidge and Chazz Palminteri. Jim Carrey is often mistakenly thought to be the third
